“She’s wearing rags and feathers from Salvation Army counters.”

~ Leonard Cohen, “Suzanne”

I’ve always loved that song, the way it ebbs and flows, like a current, like life. Like art. I grew up playing it on my guitar, in a place where the snow was deep and the skies were grey for months at a time.

Now I live where it’s a little less cold, in a place by the river, where on the best of days the sun truly does pour down like honey.

Thanks for visiting.
